Kathmandu (1,400 m) – The City of Temples
Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is a vibrant cultural hub filled with ancient temples, rich history, and spiritual energy. It is home to some of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites.
Manakamana Temple – The Goddess Who Fulfills Wishes
Situated atop a ridge in the Gorkha district, this temple is believed to fulfill the wishes of devotees. It is reached via a scenic 2.8 km cable car ride, followed by a short uphill walk or horse ride.
Pokhara (827 m) – Gateway to the Himalayas
Known for its serene lakes and mountain views, Pokhara is a peaceful retreat. It offers both natural beauty and spiritual spots perfect for reflection.
Jomsom (2,743 m) – The Himalayan Gateway
Jomsom is a picturesque mountain town in the Mustang district, surrounded by the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It’s the base point for visiting Muktinath.
Muktinath (3,710 m) – The Place of Liberation (Moksha Dham)
One of the holiest temples for Hindus and Buddhists, Muktinath is known as the “Moksha Dham” – the place for liberation. It is part of the 108 Divya Desams (Vaishnavite shrines).
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
– Pickup from Tribhuvan International Airport
– Transfer to hotel and short briefing
– Overnight in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
– Visit: Pashupatinath, Guheshwori, Jal Narayan, Swayambhunath
– Evening free for shopping
– Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara via Manakamana
– Drive to Pokhara (200 km)
– En route: Manakamana Temple Darshan via ropeway (2.8 km cable car ride)
– Evening at Lakeside Market
– Overnight in Pokhara
Day 04: Fly to Jomsom – Muktinath Darshan
– Early morning flight to Jomsom (20 mins)
– Drive to Muktinath Temple (1 hr)
– Walk/Horse/Doli to temple (40 mins walk or 15 mins by horse)
– Holy bath at 108 sprouts, Darshan at Muktinath, Jwala Mai, and 2 kunds
– Return to Jomsom for overnight stay
Day 05: Fly Back to Pokhara – Sightseeing
– Morning flight to Pokhara
– Sightseeing: Bindhyabasini Temple, Tal Barahi, Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave
