
Puri – The Sacred Land of Lord Jagannath
Located in Odisha, Puri is one of India’s most ancient and revered cities, situated along the Bay of Bengal. The iconic Jagannath Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, is a major pilgrimage site. It is the only temple where Lord Jagannath is worshipped alongside his siblings, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra. The temple, constructed over a thousand years ago by King Choda Ganga Deva and King Ananga Bhima Deva, is also a significant site for Adi Shankaracharya’s Govardhana Matha. Puri is famous for its annual Rath Yatra (Chariot Festival), drawing millions of devotees.
Rameswaram—The Southern Pilgrimage Hub
Located in Tamil Nadu, Rameswaram is a historic pilgrimage site associated with the Hindu epic Ramayana. It is believed that Lord Rama built the Rama Setu (Adam’s Bridge) from here to Sri Lanka. The Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and an essential stop for devotees visiting Varanasi. The temple features stunning architecture and sacred water tanks for purification rituals.
Dwarka—The Kingdom of Lord Krishna
Situated in Gujarat, Dwarka is one of India’s most sacred cities, believed to be the ancient kingdom of Lord Krishna. The Dwarkadhish Temple, overlooking the Arabian Sea, stands as a significant pilgrimage site. Mythologically, the city of Dwarka is said to have submerged multiple times due to sea erosion, with the current settlement being the seventh version.
Badrinath—The Spiritual Jewel of the Himalayas
Nestled in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, Badrinath is one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Badrinath Temple sits between the Nar and Narayana mountain ranges. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, the town is home to sacred sites such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Saraswati River’s origin point. The temple is open from April to October.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi—Transfer to Haridwar
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, railway station, or bus terminal, transfer to Haridwar. Evening visit to Mansa Devi Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel. (220 km)
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot
After breakfast, drive to Barkot, with en-route visits to Mussoorie and Kempty Falls. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay. (177 km)
Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Early morning drive to Janaki Chatti, followed by a 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. Optional horse ride available at an extra cost. Take a holy dip at Surya Kund, perform rituals, and return to Barkot.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi
After breakfast, head to Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Adhi Shakti Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Early morning drive to Gangotri, stopping at Gangnani for a dip in the Tapt Kund (Hot Springs). Seek blessings at Gangotri Temple and return to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptakashi
Morning drive to Guptakashi, stopping at Ardha Narishwar Temple. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Guptakashi to Kedarnath
Early morning transfer to Sonprayag, followed by a 19 km trek to Kedarnath Temple. Optional helicopter services available at additional cost. Seek blessings at one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and stay overnight in Kedarnath.
Day 8: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Badrinath
Trek down to Sonprayag, then drive towards Badrinath. En route, visit Ukhimath Temple. Perform evening puja and rituals at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay.
Day 9: Badrinath Exploration
Early morning visit to Badrinath Temple, take a holy dip, and perform rituals. Explore surrounding sites like Mana Village and Vyas Gufa. Overnight stay.
Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
Morning drive to Rudraprayag, stopping at Joshimath’s Narasingh Temple and Panch Prayag Temple. Overnight stay.
Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar
After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh, visiting Dhari Devi Temple and other local attractions. Continue to Haridwar for an overnight stay.
Day 12: Haridwar to Delhi – Departure
After breakfast, return to Delhi for drop-off at the airport, bus park, or railway station.
